Massage and Tui Na massage plays a key role in Chinese Medicine and has done for over 2,000 years. Incorporated into acupuncture treatments, it can have extremely powerful results.

Massage may also enhance well being by stimulating the release of endorphins (natural painkillers and mood elevators) and reducing levels of certain stress hormones.

Tui Na massage is a fairly vigorous, martial-art-style technique that balances the body. Tui Na is applied to the clothed body with patients either sitting on a chair or lying down. The technique uses pressure, kneading, twiddling and rubbing on key joints in the body, with particular attention given to stimulating acupressure points.

Whether you wish to book a massage as a luxurious treat, for stress relief or pain management, massage can have a powerful beneficial effect on your physical, emotional and psychological wellbeing.
